I haven’t made any wreaths for quite a while, and as my Christmas tree decoration was still hanging up on display outside, I thought it was high time that I replaced it with something new.
This wreath is another one that’s made entirely from plants in my garden.
It was the colourful berries that sparked by motivation to make this wreath. They were threatening to fall off a tree into the pond, so I cut some of them back. Most of the other components were plants I dried from last summer – poppy heads, wheat, allium heads and crocosmia seed heads. I added some cow parsley for a bit of greenery.
I’m not sure how long it will last, but it was a pleasant way to spend a sunny afternoon.
I love all of your wreaths – they’re absolutely gorgeous and I can imagine your garden must be wonderful too.

Aww, thank you. That’s very kind of you. I’m hoping to make another autumn one soon.
