Work has been crazily busy this year, so I haven’t had as much energy, or motivation, to do much making. However, with all of the never-ending depressing news, I’ve recently felt the need to turn to crafting for some much-needed escapism.

Making wreaths has always been a great distraction for me. You don’t need to concentrate too much on what you’re doing or keep count of anything. Just make it up as you go along.

This one is made entirely out of plants from my garden – Chinese lanterns, periwinkle leaves and a passionflower vine base.
Not long to go until I start making this year’s Christmas wreaths!
