At some point, early on in 2022, I saw (on Instagram, I think) a stitch journal. It looked really interesting, and I knew straight away that I wanted to try and make my own. It was a bit too far through the year to start, so I put it on the back burner until the end of the year.
I hadn’t mentioned it to anyone, so I was completely gobsmacked when I received a kit to make one as a Christmas present.
There are different types of stitch journals, but the one I am making has little embroidered symbols to represent something about each day.
While I’m not strictly a beginner at embroidery, I don’t consider myself an expert by any means. I’m finding it quite a challenge to stitch neatly, so hopefully, by the end of the year, I will have improved considerably!
