I get a little over-enthusiastic at these shows, wanting to buy lots of new things to try. I like kits because they’re a gateway into trying a new craft without having to invest too much in case you don’t like it.

Continue readingInspiration comes from all sorts of places. I received this pretty card on my birthday recently. The design (by Emma Grant) is so lovely and delicate, and it struck me as something that I could try and replicate using some of my craft stash.
It’s all been a bit quiet on the crafting front lately because I’ve been decorating again, this time the spare room, which is a bit of a dumping ground for anything and everything. All of the things that were in this room had to go in my craft room so it became a bit of an obstacle course trying to get to anything.
