So I worked out why I never completed this kit – one of the coloured threads was missing. Grr. It’s ended up being a very light brown coloured robin.

I enjoyed making this. I don’t do enough embroidery, but when I do, I’m always motivated to do more.

Now that my craft room is pretty much in order, pending the delivery of a new sofa (hopefully this month), I’ve been able to properly sort out all of my craft things stashed in various places around the house.

I love all the crafting opportunities that Christmas brings, and this year, for a change, I was organised and started my projects early.

The Spring 2018 Knitting and Stitching Show

I wasn’t sure if I’d manage to get to the Spring Knitting and Stitching Show because of the snow we’ve had this week but, despite the media’s non-stop scaremongering, I got there without any problems. 

My one year blogiversary

I can’t quite believe that a year has passed since I started my blog, and boy, so much has changed in the last 12 months.

My Purple Passion

I’d never quite understood those people who you see grieving for celebrities that they didn’t know. However on 21 April 2016, all that changed. I’m a huge Prince fan. I was heartbroken when I heard that he had died and it was all that I could think about in the following days. Prince had been a part of my life for 33 years. That’s a long time.
