Here’s April in stitches. I’m a little happier with this month’s efforts.
Keeping this stitch journal has been a really good exercise in making me think about what I’ve done each day. I find it quite challenging to come up with something new to stitch if nothing out of the ordinary has happened. I’ve made a list of things that I could draw upon if I come up with a blank – nature, news, something I’ve read, listened to, or watched. Even when I’ve thought of something to represent the day, I’ve sometimes found it hard to illustrate, so having this list to fall back on is helpful.
It’s been good to get out in the garden this month, if only for some stitching inspiration!
